The Model 22-D Coater and Spreader and its predecessors have been the mainstay of the Black Bros. spreading and coating line for more than 50 years. This heavy duty performer easily adjusts for substrate sizes and coating thickness, and is available in sizes from 26" to 110" (660 mm to 2794 mm), with single or variable speeds ranging from less than 10 to over 300 fpm (3 to over 91 mpm). The 22-D reduces material costs by precisely controlling coating thickness to minimize material waste. Uniform coverage means higher productivity, optimum quality, and minimal scrap.

• Variable Speed Drive including AC inverter with Reverse Lock-out 40-120FPM and digital read out in FPM, 1/2 HP, Electrical interlocks,
• Operating control bars infeed and outfeed; 5” resilient covered coating rolls, 3-7/8” resilient covered doctor rolls;
• upper elevator for stock to 3-3/4” thick, pass line 35-1/2”, controls on LEFT* end, operating handwheels on RIGHT* end;
• Pivoting infeed table.
